This weekend was a landmark moment for the Waleses: the first official public appearance for all five in Scotland. Kate Middleton, then, kept to her tried-and-true outfit formula.
Princess Catherine and husband Prince William were joined by all three of their children—Prince George (13-years-old), Princess Charlotte (11-years-old), and Prince Louis (8-years-old)—at the Commonwealth Games in Glasgow, Scotland for the first time. The family was photographed arriving to the stadium, and in the stands for the netball semi-finals.
The princess wore a deep racing green double-breasted cashmere blazer from Ralph Lauren, paired with a new striped sweater vest from La Ligne, and a white pleated ankle-length skirt. For jewelry: a favorite pair of 18k yellow gold diamond hoop earrings from Kiki McDonough and Annoushka baroque pearl earring drops. Her bag was a chalk-colored square woven tote bag by Anya Hindmarch, and slingback cream pumps were from Camilla Elphick. It was a relaxed combo of sporty details and the Kate Middleton staples.
Her hair was worn in signature blown out waves that picked up the caramel shades in her long brunette hair, her parting swept slightly to the side. Her nails were bare and buffed, and makeup was light with a brown smoky eye and nude lip.

While Catherine and her daughter Charlotte have shown a penchant for coordinating looks, this time, Charlotte wore a frilly polka-dot dress, with a buttoned shirt top and tiered skirt that ended just above the knee. She paired it with white ballet pumps and a singular bracelet. Her hair was styled similarly to her mother’s in almost waist-length waves.
William kept to his own failsafe look, in a navy suit and sky-blue shirt. George wore a white Ralph Lauren shirt and gray chino-style pants, while Louis wore a blue shirt and black pants with suede brown loafers.
And it was a rare sighting for the family as an entire unit. Last month, Catherine and William were joined by George and Charlotte at Wimbledon for the tennis championships. The last time they were seen as the full fivesome was in a brief moment after Kate completed the National Three Peaks Challenge in support of the Royal Marsden Cancer Charity at the beginning of the month. The family were photographed in multiple heartfelt embraces while celebrating the Princess’s victory. Before that, it was at the 2026 Trooping the Colour in June, in matching blues.
