Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce kept their reported rehearsal dinner largely out of view Thursday, but three guests from Swift’s circle let Instagram handle the style roll call. Selena Gomez went to the dark side in Oscar de la Renta, Suki Waterhouse carried a garden’s worth of embroidery into the night in Carolina Herrera and Gigi Hadid gave the romantic brief to her hairstylist, who answered with heart-shaped “Love Layers.”
Gomez’s stylist Erin Walsh revealed the fullest look Friday, posting the “Only Murders in the Building” star in a strapless black Oscar de la Renta dress. Floral lace appliqués spread over a semisheer, skin-toned base, while a fitted bustier and thigh-high slit gave the silhouette some edge. Walsh completed the look with black Jimmy Choo stilettos and Fernando Jorge diamonds, including long, ivy-like earrings that remained visible beneath Gomez’s high bun.
Renato Campora pulled her hair into the sleek, part-free updo, with Soo Park adding a softly smoked cat eye, pink blush and a berry-toned lip. Tom Bachik finished the beauty look with a sheer neutral manicure. The designer choice also made for a tidy bit of wedding-week reciprocity: Swift attended Gomez and Benny Blanco’s September 2025 nuptials in a sequined Oscar de la Renta dress with floral appliqués.
Waterhouse took the evening’s florals in a more playful direction. In a car selfie posted to Instagram Stories, she showed a black Carolina Herrera midi from the designer’s pre-fall 2026 collection.

The style — look 35 from the show — was covered in pink and purple 3D floral embroidery, then threw an off-white feathered jacket over it rather than reaching for a conventional wrap. Loose waves and smudged eye makeup, sharpened with pink at the inner corners, kept the effect closer to one of her stage looks.

Hadid’s contribution arrived from Dimitris Giannetos, who styled her long blond hair in what he called “Love Layers.” His update on the C-cut began just below the chin, with extra lift at the roots and inward-curving lengths that narrowed toward the ends to create the illusion of a heart. Giannetos built the shape with a large round brush, pinned the hair while it cooled, then finger-brushed it and added hairspray. Hadid was later photographed heading to Madison Square Garden with Bradley Cooper, making the unusually on-theme name feel considerably less accidental.
Those three looks were only the opening act. A city permit obtained by the Associated Press puts the Madison Square Garden “main event” at 5 p.m. Friday, with space for up to 1,000 guests and the option to continue until 4 a.m. Saturday. Street closures, restricted access around Penn Station and tented vehicle entrances have kept the operation about as subtle as an arena wedding can be. The one detail still more closely guarded than the guest arrivals is what Swift will wear down the aisle. Designers have already sketched their answers for WWD, imagining everything from grand couture ballgowns to more unexpected takes on the singer’s bridal era.
