Queen Letizia of Spain kicked off her July calendar in a relaxed business casual ensemble finished with her go-to espadrilles. The royal paid a visit to the Zarzuela Palace to speak with an audience of professionals working in the field of eating disorders on Wednesday.

As usual, the Spanish queen returned to one of her favorite shoe brands: Calzados Picón. Letizia is known for supporting Spanish brands and repeatedly returns to the same shoe styles. For this appearance, she opted for the Calzados Picón Espadrille Marina DUO Wedges in navy blue.
The espadrilles feature a leather upper, synthetic lining and a cushioned leather insole. The shoe is made with a natural jute fibre sole with a slight platform heel that measures two inches in height. The Marina style features a round toe design and a V-shaped vamp, as well as a sling-back strap with wrap-around laces. The shoes retail for around $100.

Letizia is known for smart dressing while fulfilling her royal duties, with a knack for balancing casual comfort and professional polish. While espadrilles might not be a popular choice to pair with business attire, she dressed the shoes up by matching them with navy blue high-waisted trousers.
The trousers were paired with a crisp white button-down shirt with sharp cuffs on the sleeves. She frequently pairs those types of trousers with blouses and smart pumps for a polished look, but the Calzados Picón made the look more feminine and approachable. The queen has been a frequent supporter of Calzados Picón, and the brand returned the favor by creating a 3.5-inch-tall espadrille wedge and naming the style “Letizia.”
