Suki Waterhouse found three ways around the usual summer sandal Monday in New York, moving from pale knee-high sock boots in Midtown to python slingbacks in the Financial District and glossy black pumps in Battery Park City.

Waterhouse started in the Financial District in head-to-toe python. She wore a cropped jacket and matching midi skirt from Marine Serre’s spring 2026 collection over a black graphic T-shirt, then repeated the yellow-and-black pattern with The Attico’s Cheope 105 slingbacks.

The snake-effect leather pumps had a narrow point, a low-cut vamp and an elastic slingback strap. At the back, The Attico used an angular 105mm heel that widened beneath the counter, pinched inward through the center and landed on a small flared base. Rather than interrupting the matching set with a neutral shoe, Waterhouse kept the python going and let the sculptural heel distinguish the pair.
She later appeared in Midtown in a pale beige boot with a close, sock-like shaft that reached the knee and gathered into soft folds around the calf and ankle. An exaggerated long, pointed toe and slim stiletto gave the otherwise sleek-looking pair a more distinguished finish.

She tucked fitted plaid pants into the shafts and added Pristine’s pale pink Girls Only T-shirt, creating a soft, punk-adjacent look.

By Battery Park City, she had shifted into what appear to be Jimmy Choo’s black patent Love 100 pumps. The $850 style is cut higher on the foot than a low-vamp pump, with a dramatic point, slim 100mm stiletto and small JC emblem at the back. Waterhouse paired them with a black blazer and fitted, above-the-knee shorts, then broke the uninterrupted black with a narrow gold anklet on one leg.

The day’s footwear did not settle into one trend, which was largely the point. Waterhouse has already spent June moving among equally specific closed-toe heels. About two weeks prior, she wore shiny tortoiseshell-effect Shushu/Tong bow pumps in London. Earlier in the month, she selected Jimmy Choo’s rose lace Faiz 100 pumps, finished with a gold metal cap toe, for Variety’s Power of Women event.

The three daytime changes came ahead of Waterhouse’s sold-out “Loveland Live” performance at Mercury Lounge that evening. Her third album, “Loveland,” arrives July 10, before her North American tour opens July 22 in Phoenix.
