“Yin and yang is built into this brand,” wrote Vogue Runway’s Nicole Phelps in her post-show review of Eckhaus Latta’s fall 2026 collection. Duality has long defined designers Mike Eckhaus and Zoe Latta, whose use of experimental materials, inclusive design, and commitment to creating clothes for real people has made the label a downtown-cool mainstay since its debut in 2011. Now, the brand is bringing its distinctive point of view to a wider audience with its first collaboration with the Spanish retailer Mango.

A 43-piece capsule collection of sand-to-city staples, Mango x Eckhaus Latta is designed for both the city slicker and the seaside dweller, featuring gauzy dresses, signature lightweight knits, and even a selection of statement swimwear. With Vogue First, Vogue Shopping readers will get exclusive access to shop the drop 24 hours before anyone else.

Following successful summer collaborations with labels like Siedrés and Simon Miller, it took little convincing when Mango first approached the design duo with the idea. “It was a win-win on both sides,” Zoe tells Vogue. “We also loved that they’re Mediterranean and have this innate summer ethos. Getting to design for this specific season and customer was really exciting.”

On merging the two worlds, Mike explains, “We wanted it to be easy and fun, while still offering range for the individual. Taking into account that this could be someone’s first interaction with the brand, we didn’t want anything to feel too heavy-handed. Instead, we focused on keeping it distilled and accessible.”

The collaboration also marks Eckhaus Latta’s first foray into a see-now-buy-now model—a departure from their traditional runway calendar. According to Mike, that freedom became one of the collection’s defining characteristics. “It was very carte blanche,” he says. “Whether it’s a Mediterranean summer viewed through an American lens or summer in Los Angeles or New York, we wanted to create a wardrobe for the clothes you actually want to wear in June, July, and August—not for one specific event or destination, but for all the different ways you move throughout the season.”

Like much of the duo’s work, Mango x Eckhaus Latta draws heavily from the natural world. Across shirting, slip skirts, and swimwear, the collection features prints of seashells, frog eggs, and fish scales photographed by Zoe herself. “It feels like the universe,” she says. Elsewhere, woven handbags and hand-blown glass jewelry reinforce that same artisanal quality.
