THE WHAT? The Ordinary has launched “The Ordinary Bus,” a free limited-run express bus service connecting Domino Park and Prospect Park in Brooklyn.
THE DETAILS Running from May 26 through June 9, 2026, the free bus route connects Domino Park at Kent Avenue and South 5th Street directly to Prospect Park near the Brooklyn Library without stops. The initiative replaces a typical 50-minute subway journey that normally requires commuters to travel through Manhattan. The skincare brand said the project extends its philosophy of accessibility, clarity and efficiency beyond beauty into urban infrastructure and public mobility. Positioned as both a functional service and brand statement, the initiative is open to all riders at no cost.
THE WHY? The campaign reflects how beauty brands are increasingly using experiential activations and public-service initiatives to reinforce brand values, deepen community engagement and stand out in competitive consumer markets.
