Adam Lippes opened a shop-in-shop in Japan at Osaka Takashimaya on Friday.
The boutique showcases Lippes’ ready-to-wear collections alongside the brand’s first leather goods collection, recently unveiled in the Japan market.
The Osaka Takashimaya boutique, which measures about 1,000 square feet, offers a selection of pieces from the spring collection, which was inspired by Lippes’ recent trip to Japan. The lineup includes seasonal styles crafted in vibrant custom floral brocade, sequin-embroidered knit cardigans suited for evening occasions, and minimalist collarless jackets that highlight Lippes’ signature tailoring expertise.
In addition, the shop showcases Lippes’s recently launched handbag collection, which is handcrafted in France.
Lippes’ core signature line is also included in the assortment, featuring fine cashmere and Italian silk-wool tailored suiting separates.
The store concept was designed by Parisian architect Francois-Joseph Graf, who collaborated with Lippes.
Osaka is one of Lippes’ key target markets in Japan.
The opportunity to open there allows the company to introduce Lippes to a “highly curated luxury customer base in one of Japan’s most prestigious department stores,” said a spokeswoman for the company. “Osaka is not only the first step in Japan, but also an important foundation for building long-term brand awareness and client relationships before further expansion.”
