Have you taken makeup lessons from a guy?

I recently came across a YouTube channel of a young man with a beard and mustache giving makeup lessons to women.

At first, I was intrigued and watched him for a few seconds, but then I ended up watching till the end. That’s because I thought he was impressive. He approached the topic ‘how to make eyes look big’ in five simplified steps.

His makeup eye did look bigger and more attractive. But the winner for me was the easy-to-follow steps. That’s what one looks for in a person giving lessons on any topic. Is it easy to follow and replicate? And in this article, we are going to do just that.

Instead of making the eyes attractive, we will make the hair attractive.

Let’s see an easy and simple-to-follow DIY blend with Black Seed Oil which is terrific for hair growth. No cooking, no grinding and no waiting needed. Just two oils, you mix and apply. And get healthy hair and reduce hair fall.

Before we jump in to make a black seed oil mixture, I will say a few words about black seeds and their hair benefits.

    What are Black Seeds?

Black seeds are tiny seeds with pitch black colour. And within them has amazing nutrients, including protein, fatty acids, minerals such as iron, copper and zinc and curative bioactives.

The black seeds’ glory is emphasized in many traditional texts of the Middle East, Asia and the Mediterranean. It is termed ‘Habbatul barakah’ in Arabic, meaning seeds of blessing. Black seeds are known for a range of ailments, including asthma, bronchitis, arthritis, acne, eczema, vitiligo, etc.

For our hair, too, black seeds offer a wide range of benefits. Black seeds can help promote healthy hair growth, decrease hair fall, condition hair and remedy scalp inflammation and irritation.

3 Ways Black Seed Oil Can Help Your Hair

Black Seed Oil Nourishes Hair Follicles

When you take a sniff of black seed oil, it smells spicy. The smell is quite unusual. That’s because black seed oil has a unique profile of fatty acids, essential oils, antioxidants and phytonutrients.

All these compounds penetrate the hair roots and encourage hair growth. Moreover, black seed oil also conditions dry, dull and unmanageable hair, making them soft and shiny (1).

Black Seed Oil Reduces Hair Loss

The essential oil of black seed contains a powerful bioactive compound called thymoquinone (TQ). The fancy thing about TQ is that it has anti-inflammatory properties that help remove hair damaging exudate.

And as the inflammation clears up, the hair fall decreases, and the normal hair growth cycle gets restored (2).

Black Seed Oil Improves Scalp Health and Hair Density

Along with its anti-inflammatory effects, black seed oil has anti-fungal and anti-bacterial properties (3). It helps with scalp conditions such as dandruff, eczema and psoriasis. And when the scalp is healthy, it grows thick and healthy hair.

How to Mix Black Seed Oil for Hair Growth?

So you need black seed oil. And you also will need coconut oil which is fantastic for hair. Coconut oil reduces protein loss from hair and promotes strong and healthy growth.

    What you will need:

    1 teaspoon Black Seed Oil

    1 tablespoon Coconut Oil

1 teaspoon Castor Oil (optional, boosts scalp circulation)

    Method:

In a bowl, take black seed oil and coconut oil and stir them to combine. That’s it, easy isn’t it 🙂

Note: If the coconut oil is solid, place it in hot water, and it will melt in a few seconds
