THE WHAT? Aekyung Industrial’s makeup brand Luna has launched a pop-up store in Tokyo to support its expansion in Japan.
THE DETAILS The activation is located in Shin-Okubo at K-beauty select shop A:PERS, a high-traffic district for Korean beauty in Japan. The pop-up showcases Luna’s core product portfolio, including its top-selling ‘Long Lasting Tip Concealer,’ alongside complementary complexion and lip products. The initiative builds on Luna’s existing distribution strategy in Japan, where the brand has scaled from e-commerce entry in 2021 to more than 10,000 offline points of sale.
THE WHY? The pop-up is designed to deepen local market penetration through experiential retail, leveraging Shin-Okubo’s strong K-beauty demand to drive brand awareness, trial, and consumer insight as part of a broader global growth strategy.
