THE WHAT? Amway India has announced plans to expand its physical retail network, opening a new Experience Centre in Gurugram as part of its INR100 crore investment programme to strengthen distributor engagement and consumer access.
THE DETAILS The new Gurugram location was inaugurated by Amway President and CEO Michael Nelson, marking the latest stage of the company’s multi-year expansion strategy. Amway currently operates more than 85 stores across India and has opened or upgraded over 14 locations in markets including Pune, Kolkata, Ahmedabad and Agra. The company plans further openings and refurbishments over the next three to four years, targeting major cities alongside tier-two and tier-three markets. The Experience Centres combine product demonstrations, consumer consultations and distributor support, extending Amway’s direct-selling infrastructure across the country.
THE WHY? The expansion reflects the growing importance of physical retail engagement within India’s direct-selling and personal care markets. By investing in experiential locations, Amway is strengthening its distribution network, supporting independent distributors and creating additional opportunities for product discovery and customer acquisition in one of its key international markets.
