THE WHAT? French cosmetics group Bogart has sold its Israeli subsidiary, April Cosmetics and Perfumes Store Chain, for approximately €5.8 million as part of a wider review of its international operations and financial structure.
THE DETAILS Bogart has sold 100 percent of April Cosmetics and Perfumes Store Chain to April Holding D.K., owned by David Konckier, Bogart’s Chairman, Chief Executive Officer and principal shareholder. The transaction values the Israeli business at approximately €10 million before deducting net financial debt, resulting in a sale price of €5.8 million. April operates 47 stores across Israel and generated revenue of €36.7 million in 2025, representing 13.9 percent of Bogart’s consolidated sales, alongside EBITDA of €0.7 million. The related-party transaction was approved by Bogart’s Board of Directors on 12 October 2026, with Konckier excluded from the vote.
THE WHY? The disposal forms part of Bogart’s strategy to review its international retail operations, strengthen its financial position and improve capital allocation, allowing the group to redirect resources towards other business priorities.
