THE WHAT? Birkenstock has launched its Care Essentials foot and body care range in India, expanding the German footwear brand into the country’s personal care market.
THE DETAILS The range includes a foot scrub, foot balm, dry oil, pumice stone, hand and body wash and lotion. Care Essentials was introduced globally in 2024 and is vegan, COSMOS Natural certified and manufactured in Germany. The collection was showcased in Mumbai alongside Birkenstock’s Autumn/Winter 2026 footwear portfolio and collaborations from its 1774 line.
THE WHY? The launch diversifies Birkenstock’s Indian business beyond footwear and extends its established association with foot health into the adjacent personal care category, bringing an existing global product platform to the Indian market.
