THE WHAT? The Estée Lauder Companies has expanded the roles of Brian Franz and Amber English as part of its Beauty Reimagined transformation strategy, strengthening leadership across technology, AI, digital commerce and its global Amazon business.
THE DETAILS Brian Franz has been appointed Chief Technology & Transformation Officer, adding responsibility for ELC’s enterprise-wide transformation to his existing oversight of Technology, Data & Analytics. His remit includes accelerating AI-enabled processes, Enterprise Business Services and new ways of working, building on initiatives including ELC’s partnerships with Shopify and Accenture. Amber English has been named President, Digital & Online, The Americas and Global Amazon Lead, giving her responsibility for ELC’s global Amazon relationship, which currently spans 13 brands across 11 markets, alongside consumer experience, creator commerce and cross-market digital strategy. Online accounted for 34 percent of ELC’s reported net sales in fiscal 2026, up three percentage points year on year.
THE WHY? The expanded roles put technology, AI and digital commerce at the centre of ELC’s Beauty Reimagined transformation, as the group looks to simplify its operating model, improve productivity and scale successful digital commerce strategies across brands and international markets.
