THE WHAT? Target is launching Target Beauty Studio, a new specialty beauty concept featuring more than 1,600 products from 90 prestige, emerging and global brands, rolling out across more than 600 US stores and Target.com from September 10.
THE DETAILS More than two-thirds of the participating brands are new to Target, with the assortment spanning skincare, makeup, hair care, fragrance, sun care and nails and including First Aid Beauty, Sunday Riley, Briogeo, Nioxin, Amuse, Kaja, Rom&nd and Tan-Luxe. The new format will combine a specialty-level presentation with dedicated Beauty Advisors, product testing, rotating brand and trend features, minis and exclusive Target Circle offers.
THE WHY? The launch represents a significant expansion of Target’s beauty proposition into prestige and global brands, using an upgraded in-store experience and broader assortment to strengthen beauty as a growth category and compete more directly for specialty beauty spend.
